About Hon. Carl E. Chamblee, Jr.
Judge Carl E. Chamblee has been practicing law for over 40 years. He has been a Municipal Judge for the City of Trussville since October of 1984 and for the City of Argo for more than 30 years. He is the Past President of the Alabama Municipal Judge’s Association. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and a Minor in Finance. He continued his education at the Birmingham School of Law and graduated in 1980 with a J.D.
Judge Chamblee has lectured for the Alabama Magistrates and Court Clerks, the Alabama Municipal Judges Association, and Law Enforcement Training Seminars. Judge Chamblee has substantial trial experience in criminal defense, including 12 capital murder cases plus numerous felony cases, civil litigation (both plaintiff and defendants), wrongful death, probating of estates, and real estate litigation.

Shami Summers Malone has been practicing law in Alabama for over 20 years. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 1996. In 2000, she obtained her Juris Doctorate from Birmingham School of Law. She was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2020 and is authorized to practice in all State Courts in Alabama.
